FPA Chair Marisa Broome said ‘the FPA Awards recognise outstanding contribution and true commitment to the FPA mission of standing with all Australians for a better financial future. The way HPH Solutions and Zac Leeson work with their clients to provide the best service they can, following the highest standards possible demonstrates this in every way. This is a credit to Rob Pyne in the team he has built and the philosophy HPH is based on. Congratulations to Rob, Zac and all of the HPH Solutions Team.’

HPH Solutions was founded in 2002 by Managing Director Rob Pyne, which now employs 15 staff. The firm’s philosophy is that financial planning isn’t just about numbers and all of their staff understand and recognise that every individual has unique requirements and preferences when it comes to managing their finances.

Rob who was thrilled to receive news of the unique double win from FPA said today that ‘we started HPH Solutions with something different in mind. From our perspective, Financial Planners are in the healthcare profession. There are both objective and subjective factors that impact a person’s quality of life and financial satisfaction. Money is as much about psychology as it is about economics and we apply an evidence-based approach to both. By asking our clients to reflect and resolve what they want from life, now and in the future, it becomes clear to them where to spend their resources of time, money and energy. We then create a plan to see that these resources are invested accordingly, tracking their progress over time and making adjustments as necessary to adapt to changes.

Being recognised for our work with this prestigious award from the Financial Planning Association of Australia means a great deal. We are incredibly grateful for this acknowledgement from our professional peer group and for the support of all of our valued clients. We are also incredibly proud of Zac to receive the highest individual award – a real testament to his professionalism and dedication to financial planning.’

Zac has previously been recognised by the FPA in the past two years through winning the FPA Community Service Award for his significant contribution to the lives of disadvantaged Perth teenagers as current President of Leading Youth Forward (LYF).

The FPA Awards are national financial planning awards designed to recognise members who deliver the highest standards of professional and trusted advice to Australian consumers, as well as those who have gone above and beyond to support their local community through pro bono and volunteer work. These awards have been run since 2013 to support and reward the 14,000 members and affiliates of whom 11,400 are practising financial planners and 5,700 CFP professionals.
